APEM Group today announced that Ambiente s.r.l., an Italian environmental engineering and consulting company providing technical and strategic advisory services to public and private clients, is expected to join the Group, subject to regulatory approval.

This would increase our presence in Italy, by adding 200 consultants, engineering and sustainability specialists to provide permitting and environmental assessments, remediation solutions, renewable energy expertise, sustainability and ESG advisory services.

Leah McGimpsey, CEO of APEM Group and Executive Vice President, Environmental Services Division, Applus+ commented:

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by the end of Q2 2026.
